NCM numbers on B/Ls for Brazil

Brazilian Customs requires all NCM numbers to be mentioned on B/Ls. The numbers must be stated on the B/Ls in sequence under separate lines.
For example:
- NCM XXXX.XXXX
- NCM XXXX
- NCM XXXX

It is recommended to state the prefix "NCM" before the digits to avoid wrong identification of NCM numbers in Brazil which may cause huge problems.

In any circumstances where the NCM numbers cannot be listed in separate sequence lines, they should NEVER be listed using points (.) as separation between different items as the Brazilian customs inspectors may also read the NCM numbers wrongly or the shipping line may misinterpret them as only ONE number and input the wrong information into Siscarga (Brazilian Customs Systems). An alternative solution is to separate the NCM numbers by commas (,) or semicolons (;) or obliques (/) and leave sufficient spacing between the different numbers.
For example:
NCM XXXX.XXXX, NCM XXXX, NCM XXXX
NCM XXXX.XXXX; NCM XXXX; NCM XXXX
NCM XXXX.XXXX/ NCM XXXX/ NCM XXXX
